Meet Jesus
Do you know that you can meet Jesus right now? It doesn’t take a formal introduction. Many millions around the globe have met the Lord face to face, through prayer. You don’t have to be “good enough” to meet God. He loves you, He made you and He accepts you just the way you are right now – when you ask Him in faith, believing He is Who He said He is!
It’s simple. Just pray the prayer below, believing that He hears you and answers you. On the other side of this prayer is an entire new life – a resurrection life – one that is filled with love, mercy, grace and forgiveness. You will be an entirely new creation of being. 2nd Corinthians 5:17-18 says, “Therefore if any person is [ingrafted] in Christ (the Messiah) he is a new creation (a new creature altogether); the old [previous moral and spiritual condition] has passed away. Behold, the fresh and new has come! But all things are from God, Who through Jesus Christ reconciled us to Himself [received us into favor, brought us into harmony with Himself] and gave to us the ministry of reconciliation [that by word and deed we might aim to bring others into harmony with Him]. ”
Heavenly Father, I come to You in the Name of Jesus. The Bible says, “Whoever calls on the Name of the Lord will be saved” and “If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved (Acts 2:2; Romans 10:9)”. You said my salvation would be the result of Your Holy Spirit giving me new birth by coming to live in me and that if I would ask, You would fill me with Your Spirit and give me the ability to speak with other tongues.
I take You at Your Word. I confess that Jesus is Lord. And I believe in my heart that You raised Him from the dead. Thank You for coming into my heart, for giving me Your Holy Spirit as You have promised, and for being Lord over my life. Amen
